FAQs

Who is this mentoring program for?

  • Artists looking to develop a creative body of work.

  • Someone who wants to crack the business of fine art like galleries, image licensing, public speaking/teaching, diversification of income, branding and marketing, writing, and ideation.

  • An artist launching a new business or reinvigorating their existing business.

  • Artists who feel they have more to say and do in their creative field.

Is the mentoring private or in a group setting?

Mentoring is private, but there will be two small group sessions where Brooke will give a talk, answer questions, and provide opportunities for accountability groups to form.

When will 1-1 sessions be offered?

There will be two 1-1 mentoring sessions per month for 6 months. The first mentoring session of each month will be 45-minutes in length and will take place on the first Sunday or Monday of each month. The second mentoring session of each month will be 20-minutes in length and will take place on the third Sunday or Monday of each month.

Doi I need to have a business for this to be worth it?

No - Mentoring may be geared toward business if that is your desire, but otherwise, it will focus on your creative evolution and building the body of work you’ve always wanted to make. Mentoring may also be a mix of both creative and business, and in fact, this is encouraged.

Does Brooke guide the sessions or do I?

You are encouraged to come with questions, but Brooke will guide each session by asking pointed questions and providing a roadmap individualized for you, based on your first meeting.

Why is there an application process?

To ensure you are a good fit for Brooke’s expertise and to get a sense of what your goals are during the mentorship program. There are 10 spots available.
